PowerChina Jiangxi Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as “JEPCC”) was founded in 1958, is a central government-owned enterprise affiliated to POWERCHINA.

As a large state-owned company focusing on clean energy development and environment protection, JEPCC offers a wide range of services integrating planning and design, investment and financing, construction, operation & maintenance and technical consulting services in various domains: renewable energy (solar power, wind power, energy storage and micro-grid, biomass and waste-to-energy and so on), power grids, ecological environment protection, municipal infrastructure, mechanical and electrical equipment installation etc.

In 2021, the company has about 2400 employees, and has the annual revenue of 13.2 billion RMB, almost doubled from 8.5 billion RMB in 2020 and 2.5 times that of 2019.

PowerChina Jiangxi Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. was established, formerly known as The First Engineering Team of Jiangxi Electric Engineering Company.

· In 2005

The company undertook the first overseas project - India Vendat 3×30MW Power Plant. 

· In 2011

In October 2011, it was separated and became a member company affiliated to China Power Construction Group Co., Ltd.

· In 2016

The company has transformed from traditional thermal power to new energy business. During the 13th Five-Year Plan period (2016-2020), nearly 10 GW of new energy projects were undertaken at home and abroad.

· In 2021

The company vision is to become the provider and facilitator of the "integration of investment, construction, and operation" model in the era of low-carbon economy.
