PowerChina Jiangxi Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. Carbon Neutral Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as Carbon Neutral Research Institute) a subsidiary of JEPCC, is a high-tech enterprise with Engineering Electricity Design Qualification Class-A, capable of providing full service from early stage consultancy, planning, designing, technical support during construction to O&M for projects of wind power, solar, energy storage, hydrogen energy, microgrid, WTE, clean heating, energy saving and decarbonization. The Carbon Neutral Research Institute has five design and R&D departments, namely, The Renewable Energy Design and Research Office, The Energy Storage Research Office, The Boiler and Industrial Emission Reduction Research Office, The Hydrogen Energy Research Office, and the Smart Operation and Maintenance Research Office. It has set up research and development bases for zinc-iron flow energy storage batteries in the United States, Shanghai, and Yancheng, Jiangsu. Production lines have been established for zinc-iron flow energy storage batteries in Yancheng, Jiangsu.

——Urban Planning and Design Institute

The Urban Planning and Design Institute, with the Class A Design Certificate, has the businesses of industrial design, architectural design, planning design, graphic design, BIM construction drawing design and so on. It can provide enterprises and government with project research, project planning creative design, IP creation, operation and other whole-process solutions in the field of municipal cultural tourism. The Urban Planning and Design Institute currently has more than 120 staff, among which designers account for 75%, all with bachelor's degree, master’s degree or above.

The Technical Center is mainly responsible for the following sectors: technical Proposal compiling, technical problem solving, process quality control, innovation system and innovation platform establishment, providing strong support for the company to help the high quality development of the company. At present, the company has 102 valid patents, including 3 invention patents, 97 utility model patents, 2 appearance designs, 24 software copyrights, and 48 provincial and ministerial construction methods.
